Hibernian FC vs Queen of South - Hibernian leave it late on fitness of trio ahead of Queens clash

Boss Alan Stubbs will make late calls on three of his Hibernian squad ahead the home Ladbrokes Championship game against Queen of the South on Saturday.

Midfielder Marvin Bartley has a back strain, Dylan McGeouch has a groin complaint while Farid El Alagui is still feeling the effects of his rehabilitation following his recovery from an Achilles problem.

Islam Feruz comes back into the team after recovering from the cold while John McGinn is available after winning his appeal against a two-game ban for a red card picked up against Falkirk last week.

Queen of the South cannot call upon on-loan Hibs winger Alex Harris at Easter Road due to an agreement between the clubs with manager James Fowler also missing the injured Callum Tapping (knee), Dale Hilson (foot) and Paul Heffernan (hamstring).

Jake Pickard and Aidan Smith are major doubts with Fowler saying: "We have to put in a full game performance to take anything from Hibs. In our recent games with Falkirk and then Raith Rovers we have done really well after slow starts but we cannot afford a slow start against a good Hibs side.

"We did well there on our trips last season and will take confidence from that."
