Shrewsbury Town vs Swindon - Larnell Cole boost for Shrewsbury ahead of Swindon clash
Posted Friday, December 18, 2015 by PA
Larnell Cole is back in training and could return for Shrewsbury at Greenhous Meadow.
The on-loan Fulham forward has missed Town's last three games after coming off against Walsall at the start of the month with a groin problem.
Jermaine Grandison and Zak Whitbread will be assessed though after suffering knocks in the FA Cup win over Grimsby this week.
Midfielder James Wesolowski remains out for the season with a serious knee injury.
Kevin Stewart could feature for Swindon for the first time in 15 weeks.
The on-loan Liverpool midfielder has been sidelined by a knee ligament problem but came through a reserve clash with Bristol Rovers on Tuesday unscathed.
Striker Jordan Stewart scored twice against the Pirates in that game and could force his way into Martin Ling's squad.
The biggest problem for Ling will be which loan players to name in his squad as he can only use five of Stewart, Louis Thompson, Ben Gladwin, Wes Thomas, Jordan Turnbull, Adam El-Abd, Lawrence Vigouroux.
