Preston North End vs Birmingham - No changes expected for Preston against Birmingham
Posted Tuesday, December 15, 2015 by PA
Simon Grayson's Preston are likely to be unchanged again for Birmingham's visit to Deepdale.
North End kept the same XI for the clash with Reading and Grayson was rewarded with a second straight victory and clean sheet at Deepdale.
That would mean centre-back Bailey Wright, free from suspension at the weekend, would have to make do with a spot on the bench again
Jermaine Beckford (knee) is back doing light work with the club's physios, Chris Humphrey (shin) is awaiting the latest results of his scan and Stevie May is in a knee brace ahead of his operation on a season-ending injury.
Jon Toral could return for Birmingham after missing Saturday's 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder suffered a leg injury in the defeat against Huddersfield but was expected to train on Monday.
Clayton Donaldson (groin) and David Cotterill (knee) remain sidelined for Gary Rowett's side and are not expected to return until after Christmas.
Blues have won just once in their last eight Sky Bet Championship games to drop out of the top six.
