Augsburg 2 - 1 Schalke 04: Last-gasp Caiuby strike gives Augsburg more reason to cheer

Augsburg brought a successful end to one of the most memorable weeks in the club's history with a 2-1 win over Schalke, a result which lifted them out of the Bundesliga's relegation zone.
The Bavarians upset the odds in the Europa League on Thursday night with a 3-1 win at Partizan Belgrade taking them through to the last 32, together with their opponents Schalke, and they showed no ill-effects from that game as they took the lead through Jeong-Ho Hong after 34 minutes.
Schalke improved in the second half and grabbed a deserved equaliser through Sead Kolasinac with 20 minutes remaining.
Just like in midweek, it took a stoppage-time winner to give Augsburg reason to celebrate with Caiuby pouncing on a bad headed clearance from Benedikt Howedes to snatch the points.
