Hibernian FC 1 - 1 Falkirk: Martin Boyle spares Hibernian's blushes against Falkirk
Posted Sunday, December 13, 2015 by PA
Hibernian's winning streak in the Ladbrokes Championship ended as they drew 1-1 with Falkirk at Easter Road.
Lee Miller looked like he had the settled the contest six minutes from time when he netted from close range after Hibs goalkeeper Mark Oxley had spilled Blair Alston's shot.
However, in the second minute of stoppage-time, substitute Martin Boyle tapped in from close-range to earn Hibs a point.
The first-half dismissal of John McGinn did not help the home side's quest to maintain the pressure on leaders Rangers.
McGinn was dismissed in the 43rd minute by referee Kevin Clancy for a sliding challenge on Mark Kerr.
Falkirk were the stronger side in the second half and appeared to have won it - until Boyle struck.
