Adams suspended for Dunfermline clash

Ayr are without the suspended Jamie Adams when they host a Dunfermline side that knocked them off top spot last weekend.

Also missing for the Honest Men is captain Nicky Devlin who has had surgery on his hand recently, while on-loan Motherwell striker Craig Moore is unlikely to feature due to a groin problem.

Manager Ian McCall said: "Dunfermline beat us in the Scottish Cup a fortnight ago however that game taught both sides nothing as it was ruined by the wind.

"I am hoping that this will be a much better meeting and it would be terrific if we could repeat the win we had over Dunfermline at their place earlier this season."

Dunfermline's Andy Geggan is back from suspension but could miss out against his former club after picking up a leg knock in training this week.

Allan Johnston is again without Callum Fordyce and Ryan Williamson due to broken legs, and the manager has highlighted the game as a must-win.

He said: "This is a big game and it would be terrific to win it however nothing will be decided in terms of the title by the end of it. We are back to the top of the league and we want to stay there.

"Ayr have been consistent in the league this season but it would be great to end their long unbeaten run."
