Oldham Athletic AFC vs Millwall - Trio return to contention for Oldham

Posted Friday, December 11, 2015 by PA

Oldham's return to Sky Bet League One action against Millwall will see a number of players come back into the reckoning.

Jay Fulton, Richie Wellens and Michael Higdon were all ineligible to feature when Latics exited the FA Cup at the hands of Sheffield United and now return to David Dunn's squad.

Cameron Dummigan's ongoing groin injury continues to be a concern, though, and Dunn admitted he will have to monitor the Burnley full-back in the build up to kick off.

Lee Croft is back in training again and should return soon from an ankle injury but Jonathan Forte (knee) is still out until at least Christmas.

Millwall winger Fred Onyedinma will be monitored ahead of kick-off.

Onyedinma missed the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at Southend in midweek with a knock having been forced off in the Lions' FA Cup tie with Wycombe.

Striker Steve Morison will also be assessed after he was taken off against the Shrimpers as a precaution having also sustained a minor knock.

Tony Craig remains a long-term absentee.
