Bristol Rovers vs York City - Darrell Clarke likely to name unchanged Bristol Rovers side

Bristol Rovers boss Darrell Clarke is unlikely to change a winning formula at home to Sky Bet League Two strugglers York after an 11-day break.

Rovers have had a prolonged break since their 3-0 victory over Wycombe - only the Pirates' second win in seven games - as they were not involved in FA Cup second-round action last weekend.

Matty Taylor's 12-minute second-half hat-trick saw off Wycombe in spectacular style and Rovers' 13-goal top marksman will lead the line with loanee Rory Gaffney.

Clarke switched to a 4-4-2 formation midway through the Wycombe win and wing-back Daniel Leadbitter will be utilised further up the pitch again if the same tactics are employed.

York boss Jackie McNamara has seen his injury problems eased as the Minstermen look to bounce back from last week's 5-1 home mauling by Accrington Stanley.

Bradley Fewster is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score his side's solitary goal, while Russell Penn is available again after minor ankle surgery.

In addition, Dave Winfield and Luke Summerfield could come back into contention after each missing a number of recent games due to concussion.

Jordan Livesey has ended his loan spell and returned to Bolton, while Keith Lowe has left the club by mutual consent.
