Queens Park Rangers vs Burnley - Charlie Austin to return as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink takes charge at QPR

Charlie Austin could return to the QPR starting line-up against his former club Burnley.

The striker, who left Turf Moor for Rangers in 2013, has made two substitute appearances since recovering from a calf problem at the start of November.

Defender Clint Hill is still out with a knee injury however and winger Jamie Mackie is sidelined by a hamstring problem.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink takes charge of Rangers for the first time after he was appointed to replace Chris Ramsey last week.

Burnley lost for the first time in 10 matches last time out - but Sean Dyche may resist the temptation to make changes.

Dyche was largely pleased with the performance in a 2-0 loss to Preston when Sam Vokes' return from a groin injury allowed him to deploy the XI he has used most frequently this season.

The likes of Matt Lowton, Dean Marney and Matt Taylor would be the most obvious candidates to come in if Dyche tinkers a side that had drawn three straight prior to the North End defeat.

Joey Barton will visit his old club but there will once again be no place in the squad for injured duo Ashley Barnes and Lukas Jutkiewicz (both knee).
