Milton Keynes Dons vs Ipswich - MK Dons boss Karl Robinson likely to ring the changes against Ipswich

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson is expected to make changes against Ipswich.

Robinson called last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Brentford his side's "worst performance of the season by a long way" and players' places in the team are at jeopardy.

Joe Walsh (knee) and Matt Upson (calf) are not quite ready to return but Lee Hodson is an option in defence while Samir Carruthers, Daniel Powell and Rob Hall could come into Robinson's thinking for midfield berths.

Sam Gallagher would be a fresh face up front while fellow striker Simon Church's knee injury will be checked.

Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy is looking for a response following the 2-0 home defeat by high-flying Middlesbrough which halted Town's play-off push.

Fit-again Republic of Ireland frontman David McGoldrick could come back into contention to start after a late cameo appearance from the bench last Friday night, but the Tractor Boys must again do without both midfielder Kevin Bru (hamstring) and Guinea foward Larsen Toure (groin).

Australia winger Tommy Oar is also not available to McCarthy, while Teddy Bishop has stepped up his rehabilitation from a hamstring problem.

On-loan Bournemouth midfielder Ryan Fraser is another closing in on a return to training at the Suffolk club after a knee injury.
