Jordon Brown netted his sixth goal of the season as Peterhead moved into the play-off positions with a 2-0 win at Forfar.

Rory McAllister was at the heart of the action for the visitors, firing over the bar in the 23rd minute, 15 minutes before providing the final pass that saw Brown convert from close range.

Striker McAllister, with 12 goals to his name this term, then saw an effort tipped over by Forfar goalkeeper Robert Douglas.

Peterhead killed off the game with five minutes remaining, James Stevenson finding the bottom corner, to extend their unbeaten run to four league matches.
