Everton v Crystal Palace

Everton will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games when Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace make the trip to Goodison Park on Monday evening.

The 11th-placed Toffees were held to a 3-3 draw by Bournemouth last time out and a win against Palace would see them shoot up to sixth place in the Premier League standings.

Palace, meanwhile, will be high on confidence heading into this encounter, having cruised to a comfortable 5-1 victory over Newcastle United in their most recent league fixture.

On the team news front, Everton will hand a late fitness to midfielder James McCarthy (hip), but Bryan Oviedo, Phil Jagielka and Steven Pienaar remain on the treatment table.

Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert are long-term absentees and no return dates have been set for the two players in question.

Leighton Baines made his return from injury in the midweek Capital One Cup clash with Middlesbrough, but is not expected to start against the Eagles.

Crystal Palace will have to make do without the services of the suspended Wilfried Zaha after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last time out.

Bakary Sako (hamstring) and Kwesi Appiah (ACL knee injury) remain on the treatment table.
