Bordeaux 1 - 0 Guingamp: Cedric Yambere strike enough to earn Bordeaux a much-needed win

Cedric Yambere helped relieved some of the pressure on boss Willy Sagnol as his solitary strike earned Bordeaux a narrow 1-0 win against Guingamp.
Les Girondins had suffered back-to-back defeats prior to the game, including a 4-1 home hammering to Caen, but Yambere's powerful header from Wahbi Khazri's corner after 62 minutes proved just the tonic for Sagnol.
The hosts dominated for large parts of the game but almost squandered the lead in the 75th minute when Nicolas Benezet beat Cedric Carrasso from close range but the upright came to the rescue for Bordeaux.
That close call was as good as it got for the visitors, who suffered a third successive league defeat for the first time since the opening three games of the season.
