Marseille 2 - 2 Montpellier: Rodrigue Ninga double earns Montpellier a point in Marseille

Posted Monday, December 07, 2015 by PA

Montpellier striker Rodrigue Ninga scored twice as Marseille were held to a 2-2 draw in Ligue 1.

Marseille were relieved to take a point from the clash at the Stade Velodrome, twice coming from behind as first Remy Cabella and then Bouna Sarr pegged back the visitors.

Cabella scored against his former club but it was Ninga who took centre stage as the Chad striker netted his fourth league goal since arriving in the summer.

The draw leaves Marseille ninth in the table, having failed to win any of their last six league games at home, while Montpellier are 16th, one point clear of the relegation zone.
