Coventry 2 - 2 Doncaster Rovers: Coventry twice pegged by Doncaster
Posted Sunday, November 29, 2015 by PA
Coventry were guilty of twice throwing away a lead to draw 2-2 with Doncaster at the Ricoh Arena.
They only had themselves to blame as twice sloppy play allowed Nathan Tyson to net in the second half.
Adam Armstrong fired the home side in front on the half-hour mark and the home side looked totally in control
But Coventry looked guilty of believing their own hype at the start of the second half and it cost them dear when some sloppy defending allowed Nathan Tyson to equalise in the 53rd minute.
John Fleck gave the ball away in midfield and then goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook failed to hold the shot from Andy Williams, allowing Tyson a tap-in.
Five minutes later, though, Fleck made up with a long range shot which went through a crowd of players and in off a post.
That looked to have restored some justice but in the 72 minute Fleck passed across the face of his own goal and presented Tyson with the easiest of strikes. The Rovers' front man then hit the bar two minutes into injury time.
