Blackpool 1 - 0 Fleetwood Town: Blackpool win Fylde Coast derby with Fleetwood

Nathan Pond's own goal gifted Blackpool a 1-0 victory in their first ever league derby against Fleetwood Town and ended the Tangerines' seven-match losing streak.
The Fylde Coast neighbours had never met in the Football League, and Blackpool were a Premier League team when they last played each other in the FA Cup.
Jamie Vardy scored for Fleetwood that day, and it was the England striker's loaned-out Leicester team-mate Joe Davis who saw his 14th-minute shot headed off the line by Hayden White.
Fleetwood's bright start was to count for nothing though, when Pond inadvertently steered Brad Potts' inviting cross into his own net after 17 minutes.
Jack Redshaw should have doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time, after a defensive mix-up, but shot wide with only Chris Maxwell to beat.
David Henen went closest to an equaliser after 57 minutes, beating Dean Lyness from a tight angle only to be denied by the woodwork.
Lyness then kept Nick Haughton's powerful late strike out as the hosts held on to win.
