Rotherham United vs Bristol City - Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn forced into changes for Bristol City clash

Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn will be forced into changes for the game against Bristol City.

Redfearn enjoyed his first win as Millers boss at Leeds last week but it came at a cost as Joe Mattock suffered a hamstring injury and Leon Best was sent off, meaning he will start a three-match ban.

New loan signing Luke Hyam will be added to the squad following his move from Ipswich.

Farrend Rawson is hoping to be involved after returning back from parent club Derby where he has been treated for a pubic bone injury.

City, just four places and four points above Rotherham, are expected to be unchanged for a third successive game.

Since experiencing a 4-1 Halloween horror show defeat at home to Fulham, City manager Steve Cotterill has seen his side beat Wolves before claiming draws against Bolton and Hull.

And loan signing Elliott Bennett can expect another opportunity at wing-back, a position he has impressed in since arriving at Ashton Gate from Norwich, where he played mostly as a winger.

"I am not a natural-born defender, but I'm happy to play anywhere the manager tells me to and do the job that is asked of me," Bennett told www.bristolpost.co.uk. "It is a different role for me, but I'm really enjoying it."
