Raith Rovers 1 - 1 St. Mirren: Stephen Mallan nets late leveller for St Mirren at Raith

Stephen Mallan's 88th-minute goal saw St Mirren snatch a point from a 1-1 draw with Raith Rovers in the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship.
Raith had looked good for three points which would have seen them move into the top four in the table after Mark Stewart struck six minutes before half-time with a shot into the top left-hand corner of the net from close range.
But with time running out, Kyle Benedictus fouled Lewis McLear and Mallan fired the free-kick into the top corner of the net, beyond the reach of Kevin Cuthbert.
Raith were left to rue chances that went astray, with Jamie Lanfield tipping over James Craigen's free-kick and keeping out Iain Davidson's header.
The result leaves Raith level on points with fourth-placed Morton, while St Mirren edge away from trouble at the foot of the standings, going up to seventh, one point clear of ninth-placed Dumbarton.
