Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is wanted to become the face of Chinese football, according to The Sun.
The England international still has three years on his contract at Old Trafford, but the newspaper claims the cash-rich Super League is keen to bring him to the Far East, after a massive TV deal injected funds into the league.
