Doncaster Rovers vs Chesterfield - Keshi Anderson blow for Doncaster ahead of Chesterfield game

Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson has more injury problems to contend with ahead of his side's clash with Chesterfield at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Ferguson will have to plan without striker Keshi Anderson who suffered a dislocated ankle in Saturday's defeat to Rochdale and has returned to his parent club Crystal Palace.

The sickness bug which has afflicted the squad shows some signs of easing with Richie Wellens poised to return, but Luke McCullough is still a doubt after being injured on international duty.

Curtis Main is battling a back problem while Richard Chaplow is still out as he recovers from an Achilles injury.

Chesterfield manager Dean Saunders will return to his former club with a full squad to choose from, apart from long-term absentee Angel Martinez (knee).

Mani Dieseruvwe is back to boost Saunders' striking options after missing the defeat against Port Vale through illness.

Teenage forward Rai Simons did his claims for a recall no harm with a superbly-taken goal after coming off the bench at Vale Park, while Gboly Ariyibi and Ollie Banks may also come into Saunders' thinking.

Right-back remains a problem area for the Spireites, who have lost three of their last four league matches. Centre-half Sam Hird got the nod at the weekend but Drew Talbot may be restored to the team.
