Stranraer vs Forfar - Stranraer looking strong ahead of Forfar clash

Stranraer will entertain Forfar with their strongest squad for a number of weeks.

David Barron, Stevie Bell, Chris Aitken and Peter McGill are included after recovering from injury, but Lee Mair (groin) and Andy Stirling (foot) remain out.

Blues manager Brian Reid said: "We went up to Peterhead in midweek and put on a good performance in difficult circumstances to get a draw.

"We need to take how well we played at Balmoor into this game, as our home performances have not been great. It is good to have a number of options that will help us do that."

Forfar are also in better shape as Mark Baxter and Derek Young both available to start after injury and Thomas O'Brien back from suspension.

Michael Travis remains out with a dislocated knee and Michael Dunlop's calf problem keeps him sidelined.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "We are determined but we are not panicking as there are good players her, but unfortunately we have not had a settled side due to injuries and suspensions.

"We are getting close to that and that will lead to improved results which will hopefully start at Stranraer."
