Albion Rovers vs Dunfermline - Young and Gemmell banned for Rovers

Albion Rovers will be without the suspended Darren Young and John Gemmell against Dunfermline.

Player/manager Young has no injury worries to be concerned with as he looks for his side to put on another strong performance against a title chasing side.

"We went to Ayr last week and deserved more than a 1-0 defeat," said Young. "The only disappointment was the goal that we lost and it would be great to play that well again but to pick up points this time.

"I would rather have points than hard luck stories."

Dunfermline midfielder Rhys McCabe (calf) misses out on his side's first visit to Cliftonhill in over 30 years while Ryan Williamson and Callum Fordyce continue to recover from broken legs.

Pars boss Allan Johnston said: "It was good to score goals and get back to winning ways at Airdrie last Saturday after a couple of goalless draws.

"Albion Rovers are a confident side as you would expect from a group of players who have won a league together. They have done really well in the league this season, particularly at home, so this will be a tough game for us."
