Ladbrokes Championship bottom club Alloa will be without midfielder Eddie Ferns through suspension for the game against second-placed Hibernian.

Michael Duffy, though, is back from international duty with Northern Ireland under-21s.

The Wasps also have defenders Colin Hamilton, Jason Marr and midfielder Iain Flannigan available against following the 5-0 defeat by Falkirk.

Alloa manager Danny Lennon said: "This is another huge game as Hibs are in excellent form at the moment. We know things are not going too well results wise at the moment however we retain the belief that things will improve."

Hibernian striker Dominque Malonga returns from international duty for Congo.

Defender Paul Hanlon will miss the game on the artificial surface at the Indodrill Stadium as he remains out with a hamstring injury.

Head coach Alan Stubbs told Hibs TV: "We know we are going on to a pitch that is not favourable. I'm just glad I'm not on it, but it is what it is and it's the same for both teams.

"It's a very firm surface and there's not a lot of astroturf surface on it. It runs very quickly and it is different, but we know what's ahead of us - there is a round ball on the pitch and 22 players and we have to do better than their players."
