Doncaster Rovers vs Rochdale - Injury problems for Doncaster ahead of Rochdale clash
Posted Sunday, November 22, 2015 by PA
Doncaster will be without Gary MacKenzie, Curtis Main, Richard Chaplow and Paul Keegan for the visit of Rochdale.
MacKenzie is still missing with an unspecified injury while Curtis Main is struggling with a back problem.
Chaplow will be out for three to four weeks after his Achilles problem was deemed worse than first expected while Keegan is back running after a knee problem but will not feature.
Mitchell Lund is a doubt with a shoulder injury.
Rochdale will assess the thigh problem of midfielder Matty Lund.
He will have had 10 days' recovery time after coming off at half-time in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Morecambe on November 10.
The lack of midweek action means fellow midfielder Jamie Allen will also have benefited as he returned to training last week after a dead leg but was not considered fit enough to face Wigan last Saturday.
Forward Reuben Noble-Lazarus still has a shoulder problem but goalkeeper Joel Castro Pereira goes straight into the squad after signing up for a second loan spell from Manchester United until January 3.
