Crewe Alexandra vs Peterborough United - Dalla Valle doubt for struggling Crewe
Posted Sunday, November 22, 2015 by PA
Lauri Dalla Valle is a doubt for rock-bottom Crewe's Sky Bet League One home clash with Peterborough.
Striker Dalla Valle has sustained a neck problem and is being assessed ahead of the fixture, in which the Alex will be looking for just their fourth win of the season.
Marcus Haber will also be checked after returning from international duty with Canada, as will Callum Saunders and Harry Wilson (both Wales Under-21s), with the expectation being that the trio will be fit for selection.
David Fox (cracked vertebrae), Harry Davis (knee) and Dave Richards (foot) are still out.
Peterborough defender Jack Baldwin misses the trip through suspension.
Baldwin serves the second game of a three-match ban for his red card in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Burton, his first game in over a year following his recovery from knee ligament damage.
Gabriel Zakuani will be assessed after sustaining a knock while on international duty with DR Congo, with Souleymane Coulibaly also a doubt.
Peterborough, the joint top scorers in League One, are striving for consistency having won seven and lost seven of their opening 17 games.
