Bury vs Burton Albion FC

On-loan Stoke goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann could return for Bury for this weekend's Sky Bet League One clash against Burton.

Teenager Jack Ruddy had a difficult debut at Gillingham last week with first-choice Rob Lainton (groin) out injured and Bachmann away on international duty with Austria Under-21s.

Turning to veteran Paddy Kenny is no longer an option due to a calf injury - and the former QPR and Leeds keeper has cancelled his contract as a result - but Bachmann's return improves manager David Flitcroft's options between the posts.

Craig Jones (abductor) and Kelvin Etuhu (leg) are back in training and could return but Ryan Lowe (calf) and Andrew Tutte (hamstring) are still sidelined with Lainton and Chris Eagles is not match fit.

Tom Naylor is available again after a ban but fellow midfielder Robbie Weir remains suspended for Burton.

Albion were without a game last weekend due to international call-ups and the extra rest may have given left-back Damien McCrory the time needed to fully recover from a hip flexor problem.

Luxembourg striker Aurelien Joachim has returned unscathed from international duty and will be pushing for a recall, having started the FA Cup defeat to Peterborough on the bench.

Darius Charles was an unused substitute against Posh and he played another development game this week as he nears a return after a broken leg.
