Leeds United vs Rotherham United - Liam Cooper back for Leeds against Rotherham
Posted Sunday, November 22, 2015 by PA
Leeds defender Liam Cooper will be included in the squad for the home game against head coach Steve Evans' former club Rotherham after recovering from a head injury.
Cooper was stretchered off after a bang of heads with team-mate Scott Wootton in the derby win at Huddersfield before the international break.
Evans has no major new injury issues but revealed two unnamed players missed training this week due to knocks.
He must decide whether to recall Sol Bamba to his starting line-up or stick with Giuseppe Bellusci at the heart of defence while Tom Adeyemi is pushing for a recall.
Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn also comes up against his former club and is still waiting for a first win at the Millers helm going into his seventh game.
Striker Leon Best is pushing for a start in attack after signing a deal until the end of the season this week while fellow new signing Stephen Kelly is expected to start in central defence.
Skipper Lee Frecklington is fit after missing the last six weeks with a calf injury and he will be hoping to come into midfield, with Richie Smallwood also likely to earn a recall.
The Millers are desperate for a win, sitting five points adrift of safety, and Redfearn only has minor "niggles and knocks" in the rest of his squad.
