Dagenham and Redbridge vs Oxford United - Dagenham hope to take cup form

Dagenham manager Wayne Burnett will be hoping his side can use their morale-boosting 4-2 FA Cup win at Morecambe to help lift them off the bottom of the League Two table when they host Oxford.

On-loan Peterborough forward Kyle Vassell scored twice in the victory at Morecombe, where the Daggers had trailed 2-0 early on, and so should lead the attack again alongside Jamie Cureton.

Liam O'Brien returned in goal following three games on the bench, so may retain his place back at Victoria Road.

Defender Justin Hoyte and midfielder Andre Boucaud will be assessed having been away on international duty for Trindad and Tobago as will Republic of Ireland Under-21 midfielder Jack Connors.

Oxford are hopeful defender Johnny Mullins will recover from a dead leg.

The 30-year-old centre-half limped off during their 3-1 FA Cup replay win over Braintree Town and is still "sore" according to manager Michael Appleton.

Captain Jack Wright remains ruled out with an ongoing back problem as United face the struggling Daggers for the second time in a month.

Appleton's side recorded a 2-0 win in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Victoria Road on November 11.
