Zlatan Ibrahimovic says it is 'too late' for him to make Premier League move

Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he is unlikely to move to the Premier League before his career comes to an end.

Ibrahimovic, 34, is out of contract with PSG at the end of the season.

The Sweden captain extended his stay in France by a few weeks after ensuring that his country qualified for Euro 2016 with a 4-3 aggregate playoff win over Denmark.

After the game, in which he scored both Sweden goals in a 2-2 draw, he joked that he had managed to send Denmark "into retirement"  -- but it remains unclear what his next move after the Euros will be.

Last month, French newspaper L'Equipe suggested Ibrahimovic would link up with David Beckham's proposed MLS franchise in Miami, while agent Mino Raiola claimed 30 clubs were after his signature.

But the 34-year-old told the paper that a Premier League move was very unlikely, saying: "In my opinion, it's too late.

"I'm very happy at PSG. I'm starting my last six months over there, so we'll see what happens after that.

"But I'm feeling good. I'm making the most of every day that I spend on the pitch.

"As long as I'm playing at the highest level, I'm trying to make the most of it, to enjoy it as much as possible and to do what I know how to do."

Ibrahimovic saw his start to the season disrupted by injury, but in early October he broke Pauleta's club record of 109 goals for the French champions.

He is the joint top scorer in Ligue 1, with nine goals in the eight league matches he has played.
