WAYNE ROONEY has his fingers crossed that team-mate Anthony Martial's injury isn't too serious.

The 19-year-old limped off after 67 minutes in France's 2-0 defeat by England last night.
France coach Didier Deschamps described Martial to be in "quite a bit of pain" as he was spotted leaving Wembley on crutches.
And Rooney hopes his strike partner can get back to fitness as soon as possible.
"From a personal point of view, and from Manchester United's point of view, I hope he is okay," Rooney told BT Sport.
"I will try to ring him."
United released an official statement earlier today, stating that they do not know the extent of the Frenchman's injury just yet, but hope to find out by Friday.

"It is worth stating the true severity of the injury is yet to be confirmed and Louis van Gaal is likely to provide that update during his pre-match press conference at the Aon Training Complex on Friday," it said on the club's website.
The Red Devils travel to Vicarage Road on Saturday to take on Watford (12.45pm).
