Morecambe vs Dagenham and Redbridge - Southend skipper Peter Murphy sidelined
Posted Tuesday, November 17, 2015 by PA
Peter Murphy will remain unavailable for Morecambe against Dagenham in Tuesday night's FA Cup first-round replay.
The Shrimps skipper is due to return this month from a knee injury but will only travel with the squad to Barnet on Friday in a non-playing role.
Adam Dugdale (foot) remains Jim Bentley's other long-term absentee and the squad has had a full week off after their league clash with the Daggers was postponed due to international call-ups.
Morecambe remain unaffected by the international break, though.
Trinidad and Tobago pair Justin Hoyte and Andre Boucaud will not feature for Dagenham.
The duo could represent their country for the World Cup qualifier against United States on Tuesday evening instead.
Jack Connors will also miss out as he is part of the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad facing Russia in a friendly in Spain.
On-loan Peterborough forward Kyle Vassell, who was cup-tied for the Daggers' most recent game in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, will come back into the squad, though.
