Inter Milan plotting £75m Eden Hazard bid

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has joined the race to sign Chelsea’s out-of-form Player of the Year Eden Hazard, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 24-year-old Belgium international has emerged as an ambitious target for the Nerazzurri, who currently lie second in Serie A after an impressive start to the season.
Following a few barren years, Inter appear to be re-establishing themselves as a major force in European football once more, under the stewardship of former Manchester City boss Mancini and with the financial aid of billionaire Erick Thohir, they could part with £75 million to persuade Chelsea into a sale, per the report.
Hazard, like many of Chelsea’s players, has endured a difficult start to the season, with his uncharacteristically poor displays coming under intense scrutiny due to the Premier League champions’ disastrous start to the season, which has seen them lose seven times in the league already.
Having been the main man for the Blues last season — scoring 14 goals and assisting a further nine as they lifted the Premier League title — Hazard has struggled to make an impact this season, failing to score in 12 league matches, while he has provided just two assists.
Nevertheless, it would be a big surprise to see Jose Mourinho or Roman Abramovich entertain offers for the talented winger as he has become a talisman for the team since joining from Lille in 2012.
