Wales head coach Chris Coleman celebrates after qualifying for Euro 2016
Wales manager Chris Coleman has revealed he would be interested in working on the Continent again after the next World Cup.
Coleman guided his country to their first competitive tournament in 57 years, when Wales qualified for the Euro 2016 finals in France.
The 45-year-old former Fulham and Real Sociedad boss is contracted until next summer and he has already spoken about his ambition to lead Wales in the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Coleman has indicated he is keen to get his future sorted, although it is unlikely he will stay in his current role beyond 2018.
"I have not spoken to anyone regarding my contract," Coleman said. "We have a lot of work to do before the finals, it is an eye-opener how much stuff there is to do off the pitch.
"We do not want my contract situation to drag on, you cannot leave it until after the Euros. We have World Cup qualifiers and the FAW need to know.
"It would be odd to go there if I was not carrying on, but we have all been happy with the last couple of years and I would hope that will carry on for the World Cup campaign.
"We have good young players to work with and improve. If I felt this team that has qualified was coming to the end of its cycle it would be different, but it is not. If everything is right, of course I want to stay on.
"When my time is up with Wales I would like another crack abroad. It is a different experience and it really improved me.
"My dream is to manage in the Champions League and realistically I am not going to get a top-four job in this country.
"I might get that chance somewhere else, but it would have to be a league where I would have a chance to compete.
"But I hope that will be something after the World Cup campaign, because by then I will have had six years at it."
