Posted Friday, November 13, 2015 by PA

Portsmouth can welcome back Caolan Lavery for the visit of AFC Wimbledon.

The on-loan Sheffield Wednesday striker was ineligible for the FA Cup win over Macclesfield last weekend.

Pompey remain without defender Jack Whatmough - although he is due to return to training in the next couple of weeks after a cruciate injury - midfielder Gary Roberts and forward Jayden Stockley (both ankle).

Goalkeepers Michael Poke (shoulder) and Paul Jones (knee) are also on the sidelines.

Striker Adebayo Akinfenwa is expected to feature for AFC Wimbledon despite continuing to nurse a thigh injury.

The physical forward missing the Dons' 2-1 FA Cup defeat to Forest Green but boss Neal Ardley should be able to include him for Sunday's league encounter.

George Francomb missed the Forest Green clash after suffering a dead leg in training but should be ready to return for the Pompey trip.

Andy Barcham (knee) and James Shea (groin) are still several weeks away from finding fitness.
