Cowdenbeath vs Brechin City - Cowdenbeath missing pair against basement boys Brechin

Cowdenbeath will look to keep visitors Brechin City at the foot of the table but must do it without the injured John Armstrong (hamstring), Jack Beaumont (foot) and Lewis Milne (knee).

Player/ manager Colin Nish said: "It was disappointing our game with Albion Rovers was called off twice in the last week as we were building a bit of momentum in terms of performances and results.

"However we have trained hard this week and will be ready to face a Brechin side that look to have turned a corner in their season after beating Forfar and drawing with the league leaders Ayr."

Brechin can lift themselves off bottom spot by winning at Central Park however they will need to do so without the injured Dene Shields (knee) and Robert Thomson (thigh).

Player/ manager Darren Dods said: "We did well in our draw against Ayr last weekend and with a bit of luck we could have defeated the league leaders. We know that if we win this game then we will climb up the table but we know it will be difficult to do so.

"Cowdenbeath have only lost once at their place this season so we know that we will have to play really well to get the three points."
