Genoa fought back to salvage a 2-2 draw at Frosinone despite playing over half the match with a man less.

The Grifoni had Sebastian De Maio sent off in the 36th minute for a second booking and looked set to suffer a sixth loss of the season when they trailed 2-1 heading into the last 15 minutes.

However, substitute Serge Gakpe struck with a close-range shot to earn a third successive draw for the visitors.

Genoa had taken a sixth-minute lead with a Leonardo Pavoletti six-yard strike but Frosinone pulled level in the 31st minute through Leonard Blanchard and went ahead in the 38th minute when Mobido Diakite netted.
