The Belgium midfielder will have two years remaining on his current deal at the end of the season.
But Fellaini, 27 – who missed United’s home clash with West Brom through injury today – wants clarity on his future before next summer’s Euros.
The ex-Everton player cost United £27million when David Moyes, his ex-Goodison boss, was in charge at Old Trafford.

And despite not being a regular starter under Moyes’ successor Louis van Gaal, Fellaini is happy at United.
But LVG is unlikely to be in a rush to start discussing a new deal and could even consider selling him if there was a good offer on the table next summer.
