Whitehawk vs Lincoln City - Whitehawk without Lee Hills for Lincoln cup tie
Posted Saturday, November 07, 2015 by PA
Whitehawk manager Steve King has an almost fully fit squad to face Lincoln in the FA Cup first round on Sunday.
King will be without long-term absentee Lee Hills as the left-back and captain is likely to miss the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.
King will look to centre forward Danny Mills to show the sort of form against Lincoln which has seen him score 14 goals in 19 appearances this season and take the Hawks to fourth spot in the National League South table.
Former Crawley midfielder Sergio Torres, who won promotion to the Football League when Steve Evans was at charge of the Red Devils, is also a feature of King's side along with former Barnet midfielder Sam Dearing.
Lincoln manager Chris Moyses will not find out until Saturday if striker Kyle Wootton, who is on loan for a month from Scunthorpe, can play against Whitehawk.
The Iron have said they will not give permission for Wootton to play for in the FA Cup until they know the outcome of their own first round tie against Southend which is on Saturday, the day before Lincoln's game.
Moyses will have been encouraged by the return to full training of Craig Stanley, who has been out since the start of October with a hamstring injury, and the midfielder could feature on the bench.
Lincoln defeated Tranmere 2-0 in a final qualifying round replay with goals from Liam Hearn and Conner Robinson but the Imps will be looking to bounce back against Whitehawk from a 1-0 defeat to Bromley which leaves them 11th in the National League table.
