Braintree Town vs Oxford United - Simeon Akinola a doubt for Braintree against Oxford

Braintree are nursing a few injuries ahead of their FA Cup first round match against Oxford, with Simeon Akinola the latest to be a doubt.
The recurrence of a hamstring problem meant Akinola was forced off after just 28 minutes of Braintree's win over Macclesfield, and manager Danny Cowley admitted it was a blow to lose him.
Cowley also revealed the club would keep monitoring Anthony Edgar (hamstring) and Dan Sparkes (groin), while he confirmed striker Charlie Strutton's loan spell at Slough Town had been extended.
"Charlie is doing really well and is getting goals," said Cowley. "He's getting there physically and is moving in the right direction so we've decided to extend his loan at Slough for another month."
Oxford could be without captain Jake Wright.
Wright has undergone intensive treatment over the last 10 days after he suffered a back spasm in the 3-2 defeat against Barnet last month.
He missed his side's victory against Stevenage and may yet be absent from Sunday's FA Cup clash.
Wright said: "I haven't missed too many games over the last few years, touch wood. I suffered the same thing about three years ago and came back quite quickly from that so I'm hoping to be back for Sunday, or for the game at Dagenham next week if not."
