Aldershot Town vs Bradford AFC - Shots sweat on Saville news
Posted Saturday, November 07, 2015 by PA
Jack Saville is a concern for Aldershot as they prepare to host Bradford in the FA Cup on Sunday.
Saville was forced off with a wrist injury in the league draw at Southport last weekend. The defender will want to play in the first-round tie but he may have to do so with the help of a protective cast.
Midfielder Jake Gallagher is the only definite absentee for Shots boss Barry Smith as he continues to serve a suspension.
Luke Oliver could start if Saville does not play while the likes of Sam Hatton, Tom Richards and Nathan Mavila are also hoping for recalls.
Bradford striker Billy Clarke could make his first start since August after recovering from a knee injury.
Clarke, who damaged knee ligaments in August, has stepped off the bench in the last two matches and Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has hinted he could play a bigger part at Aldershot.
West Ham loanee Reece Burke will be monitored after straining a hip-flexor muscle during the warm-up before the midweek win against Blackpool and fellow defender Christopher Routis (calf) is still out.
Striker Steven Davies, Paul Anderson and fellow winger Filipe Morais (all knee) remain long-term absentees.
