Lorient 4 - 1 ES Troyes AC: Benjamin Moukandjo at the double as Lorient march on
Posted Sunday, November 08, 2015 by PA
Benjamin Moukandjo scored twice as Lorient continued to exceed expectations in Ligue 1 with a 4-1 win over Troyes.
Les Merlus lie sixth in the table after their fifth win of the season, kick-started by Benjamin Jeannot's 33rd-minute goal which gave them a 1-0 interval lead.
Strike partner Moukandjo made it two and though Benjamin Nivet pulled one back from the penalty spot, Didier Ndong restored the two-goal margin and Moukandjo's late penalty set the seal on victory.
Troyes have struggled to adapt to the top flight since promotion and remain winless after 13 games, with only four points to show for their efforts.
