Corry Evans returns to the Blackburn fold for Brentford's trip to Ewood Park.

The Northern Ireland international served a one-game suspension when Rovers drew 0-0 at Birmingham in midweek having been shown five yellow cards.

Evans will be the only addition to Gary Bowyer's squad, with the Blackburn boss confirming Danny Guthrie (calf) will not return until after the international break.

Fode Koita (hamstring) returned as a substitute in midweek, but Chris Brown (knee) and Jason Lowe (foot) remain long-term absentees.

Brentford midfielder Alan Judge could miss the trip to face his former club.

The Irishman was absent from the side beaten 2-0 at home to Hull on Tuesday night due to a hamstring injury.

Josh McEachran (foot), Jota (ankle) and Andreas Bjelland (knee) remain long-term absentees.

But midfielder Sam Saunders is back in contention after a long spell out, having been named on the substitutes' bench in midweek.
