Manchester United resemble 'robots' under Louis van Gaal

That is the withering assessment of former Red Devils favourite Andrei Kanchelskis.
United have gone nearly five hours without finding the net.
Paul Scholes slammed Van Gaal last week in the wake of the Red Devil's Capital One Cup defeat to Middlesbrough, saying he ‘wouldn’t like to play for him’.
And Kanchelskis has gone a lot further in slamming the style of football played by his old club ahead of their Champions League tie against CSKA Moscow tonight.
"Van Gaal is too pragmatic, his footballers play like robots,” Kanchelskis said as quoted by The Sun."
"They are kept within a strict framework, they are not allowed to improvise, contrary to what Ferguson allowed us to do."
"Van Gaal, of course, is a good coach but, in my opinion, he is not for Manchester United. I’m looking at his game for the second season now."
