Middlesbrough vs Rotherham United - Same again for Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka
Posted Tuesday, November 03, 2015 by PA
Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka has an unchanged squad for the visit of bottom club Rotherham.
That means Cristhian Stuani (groin and hamstring) and Adam Forshaw (ankle) remain out injured, although the latter may be fit enough to return to the squad for the trip to Hull on Saturday.
With that game against one of their promotion rivals on the horizon, Karanka may choose to rest the likes of Diego Fabbrini, Grant Leadbitter and Adam Clayton - who are all on four yellow cards this season and just one more away from a one-match ban.
Damia Abella (knee), Alex Baptiste (broken leg) and Rhys Williams (Achilles) remain long-term absentees for Boro.
Rotherham will hope to have Matt Derbyshire and Lee Frecklington back for the trip north.
Derbyshire missed Saturday's 3-0 loss at Derby with an ankle injury while Frecklington has been missing for the last two months with a calf problem.
Farrend Rawson is a definite returnee to the squad after he was ineligible against his parent club on Saturday and he is likely to come back into the side.
Boss Neil Redfearn, who is still searching for a first win in charge of the Millers, could make changes after he branded his side's display at the iPro Stadium "not acceptable".
