Carpi 0 - 0 Hellas Verona: First win continues to elude Hellas Verona

Posted Monday, November 02, 2015 by PA

Hellas Verona were left still searching for their first Serie A win this season as they drew 0-0 at Carpi.

The result at the Braglia stadium left both teams on six points, level at the bottom of the standings after 11 rounds.

Carpi were the better side and should have claimed all three points, but Hellas goalkeeper Rafael pulled off a string of terrific saves in the second half.

In the 57th minute, Rafael tapped Kevin Lasagna's goal-bound shot from the edge of the area over the bar and two minutes later kept out Ryder Matos' powerful header from Andrea Lazzari's cross.
