Man United want to bring in Gareth Bale

Manchester United are set to make a new move to sign Gareth Bale in January, according to reports.

United were claimed to have failed with attempts to sign Welshman Bale from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

But the Daily Mirror says the Red Devils aren’t giving up and plan to make a new attempt in January, with a £90million bid on the cards.

If Madrid accepted, it would be a record amount paid for any footballer.

The paper adds that Bale is United’s top transfer target and they’re hopeful of doing business despite the strained relationship with Madrid following the collapsed David De Gea deal over the summer.
