ES Troyes AC 0 - 1 Lyonnais: Lyon move up to second with narrow win over Troyes

Lyon made it four games unbeaten as they saw off 10-man Troyes with a slender 1-0 win.
Claudio Beauvue's solitary strike from the penalty spot late on proved enough to secure the three points that saw Les Gones move up to second in the Ligue 1 table.
Defeat for Troyes means they are still to claim their first league win of the season and leaves them rooted to the bottom of the standings, five points from safety.
Lyon forward Mathieu Valbuena proved to be a menace to the hosts early on and he twice went close inside the opening 20 minutes, firstly threatening Paul Bernardoni with a 20-yard effort before firing wide from Alexandre Lacazette's delivery a few minutes later.
Bernardoni was called into action on the half-hour mark, pushing away Corentin Tolisso's dangerous drive, before the hosts' evening took a turn for the worse.
Troyes were reduced to 10 men when Corentin Jean was given his marching orders for a dangerous lunge on Sergi Darder and Lyon looked to capitalise as Jordan Ferri saw his volley kept out by Bernardoni just before the break.
The largely one-way traffic continued after the interval as Hubert Fournier's men looked for the all-important opener but Lacazette could only fire over after leaping on Darder's blocked shot.
The visitors were not having things all their own way, though, and Stephane Darbion tested Anthony Lopes with an effort from out wide which the Portugal stopper pushed to safety.
However, with less than a quarter of an hour to play, the inevitable happened when Chris Mavinga barged over Lacazette inside the area and referee Stephane Jochem pointed at the spot.
Beauvue took charge from 12 yards and confidently beat Bernardoni from the penalty spot for his fourth league goal of the season.
Lyon thought they had added a second in stoppage time when Valbuena latched onto Ferri's pass before netting but the linesman's flagged denied Fournier's men.
