Koln 0 - 0 Hoffenheim: Hoffenheim earn point in Huub Stevens' first match in charge

Huub Stevens started his reign as Hoffenheim coach with a 0-0 draw at Cologne, succeeding in halting his side's run of defeats but seeing plenty of room for improvement.
In a tight, scrappy affair, Hoffenheim - who had come into the game on the back of three successive losses in league and cup - had luck on their side with a strong penalty call from Cologne waved away when Tobias Strobl appeared to handle the ball inside the penalty area.
Anthony Modeste also had an off day for the hosts while Kevin Kuranyi wasted the visitors' best chance of the game.
