Inter Milan vs AS Roma - Inter Milan striker Stevan Jovetic eyes Roma scalp

Inter Milan will look to bring an end to Roma's five-game winning streak in Serie A on Saturday when they host the league leaders at the San Siro.

Roma were 3-1 winners over Udinese on Wednesday and stand two points clear of Inter, Napoli and Fiorentina.

Coached by Rudi Garcia, the capital city side boast the best attack in the Italian top flight with 21 goals scored in their opening 10 games.

Inter striker Stevan Jovetic told his club's TV channel: "Roma have started the campaign very well, playing great football and scoring so many goals. It's going to be a difficult challenge.

"We expect a beautiful game and I can't wait to go out on the pitch. It's always great to play at the San Siro."

Jovetic, who joined Inter on an 18-month loan deal from Manchester City this summer, and Argentinian forward Mauro Icardi are at the top of the team's scoring charts with three goals apiece.

Icardi's goal gave Inter a 1-0 triumph at Bologna on Tuesday - their first win in five matches.

Jovetic has not found the back of the net for the Nerazzurri since August 30.

"I know I can do better and I will do," the Montenegro international said. "My aim is to score 20 goals this season."

Inter, coached by Roberto Mancini, have high hopes this season after two disappointing campaigns that saw them miss out on European football.

"The club's aim is to return to the Champions League next season but the Scudetto (Serie A title) is also a target," Jovetic said. "It's early and it seems to be a very balanced league. I came here to win."

The Nerazzurri have lost just one game at home this season and have the best defensive line with just seven goals conceded. The majority of those goals came in a 4-1 loss to Fiorentina.

Roma have not kept a clean sheet since September 12. However, the Giallorossi are confident they can keep up their impressive domestic form.

"This is an important game and whoever wins will gain further confidence," Roma forward Edin Dzeko told Gazzetta dello Sport. "The thought of losing does not enter my mind."

Dzeko, a former team-mate of Jovetic at City, is set to link up with Mohamed Salah and Gervinho in Roma's attack.

Runners-up to Juventus in each of the past two campaigns, Roma will be without the injured Francesco Totti and Seydou Keita.

Veteran midfielder Daniele De Rossi is doubtful for the clash in Milan with a thigh problem and could rest in view of Wednesday's match at the Stadio Olimpico against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Inter are without Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo, who is suspended.
