Getafe vs Barcelona - Douglas foot injury adds to Barcelona's troubles

Barcelona have received another injury blow ahead of Saturday's Primera Division match at Getafe with Brazilian right-back Douglas ruled out for two months by a foot injury.
Douglas returned to the starting XI in the first leg of Barcelona's Copa del Rey last-32 match at Villanovense after being sidelined for two months with a muscular injury but was hurt during Wednesday's 0-0 result.
Tests on the player revealed a stress fracture in his right foot and the club confirmed Douglas will be out for eight weeks.
Barcelona are already without injured Lionel Messi, Rafinha and Sergi Roberto while Argentinian defender Javier Mascherano will serve his first part of a two-match ban on Saturday.
Barcelona coach Luis Enrique rested his leading players in midweek, including strikers Luis Suarez and Neymar, and was pleased with his team's performance in Extremadura.
"I am happy with the display," he said on the club's website. "For a player, it isn't easy to play a game when you normally have fewer minutes and you have less rhythm.
"Clearly, with more minutes, the players perform better, but I haven't seen any apathy and I'm satisfied. I'm a coach and I have to manage the minutes of everybody.
"They're decisions, and I'm happy with the ones I take."
Barcelona stand second in La Liga, level on 21 points with Real Madrid, who are ahead on goal difference. The Blaugrana won 3-1 against Eibar in their last league game, as Suarez's hat-trick handed Barcelona their seventh league win of the campaign.
Luis Enrique is expected to have captain Andres Iniesta available for selection after the Spain international recovered from a hamstring problem.
However, Iniesta could start on the bench on Saturday in view of next Wednesday's Champions League match at home to BATE Borisov.
Barcelona thrashed Getafe 6-0 at the Nou Camp on the last occasion the teams played each other.
Getafe have won three and lost one of their four encounters at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
The Madrid-based club beat Las Palmas 4-0 before losing 5-0 at Sevilla on Sunday to drop to 13th in the standings.
"We didn't perform well at Sevilla," Getafe winger Angel Lafita told Marca. "But we need to put this defeat behind us and focus on the game against Barcelona.
"We have the opportunity to prove against Barca that Getafe not only aspires to avoid the drop this season. We have to go into the encounter with a winning mentality."
Getafe defender Alexis Ruano suffered a left knee injury in training this week and is set to miss the game. Striker Alvaro Vazquez is also doubtful with a muscular problem.
Getafe coach Fran Escriba is also without injured Alvaro Medran as well as Carlos Vigaray, who is suspended.
